Welcome! My name is Bryn MacDonald. I am an Edmonton Alberta Canada based freelance web-designer.
I manage all aspects of designing and implementing websites, from single page sites, blogs, and small business sites, to full scale corporate websites.
Content Management Systems
(CMS) I implement fully content managed websites using a variety of systems, and have experience with Wordpress, Joomla, DotNetNuke, and Drupal.
Drupal is the cms that I am most up-to-date with, and the system which I offer.
Why Drupal? Drupal starts from a core which is simple yet powerful and expandable, allowing a great degree of customization. Drupal is recognized as best for what it does.
If you need a less complex website, I would suggest:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
I have a full understanding of how to move a website up in search engine rankings.
Flash
I can implement flash if you so desire, but doing flash work takes time and is therefore more costly.
Website Design
I theme and implement Drupal, Wordpress, DotNetNuke, Blogger, Joomla, as well as HTML websites
Website Hosting
I can host your site for a low monthly fee or you can set up your own hosting.
Social Media Optimization (SMO) & Blogs
It is becoming increasingly common for websites to reach out beyond static pages and information with many business owners authoring their own blogs and cross promoting via Facebook and Twitter. If you are looking for something simple, to a full branding and integration across the many social media networks, I can make it happen.

Implementation Time
A singe page website will take me about one to two days. The more complex, the longer it will take to design and implement your website. On average, the more complex websites take me about three weeks.
Graphics Design
I am a photographer as well as an artist, and I also like to use today's software to create and to manipluate images, creating art. If you have a graphics idea, I can most likely portray it.
Logo Design
If you are looking for a company logo or re-brand or need a specific graphic for your site, I can provide just what you need.
Brochure Design
From single page to multi-page tabloid brochures, I can match the look of your brochure to your website, or vice-versa.
e-commerce
If you intend to sell a product or offer a subscription service from your site, I can create an e-commerce system tailored specifically to your needs.
Cost
To find out how much your website design or redesign will cost, I will provide you with an estimate based upon your input. When requesting an estimate, please provide as much detail as you can so that I have a clear indication of what you are looking for and can ensure that the estimate is correct. Several emails may be required to come to a solution that is mutually benefiting.
